Cyanotype Print on t-shirt
Her's a couple of tips when undertaking cyanotype printing:
make sure the solution is too old;
make sure the room you are applying the solution in is dark; and
have a plastic sheet between the front and back of the t-shirt.
Rookie's mistakes. Im putting it down to the fact that I was tired when I did this. I really like cyanotype on fabric . I have had great success with it on silk /cotton voile and canvas. I'm going to experiment a little bit more with this rocess.
I'm off to a linocut workshop this Sunday. My second workshop in 3 months. It's always good to learn different techinques from others. This year I'm challenging myself to attend a workshop every two months. I normally do a couple a year online, howbere, on the whole i'm self taught in most things.
