Week 27 of 52 Week Printing Challenge

Cyclorana platycephala (Water-holding frog) Collagraph

Applying a coat of shellac to my frog collagraph. Made using mount board, carborundum and PVA glue.

The shellac seals the board and makes it more durable for printing, without leaving any brush strokes.

I’ve really enjoyed working on this little guy ( females measure up to 72mm and makes 64mm).

Not sure if I’ll get him printed this week as I’m cleaning the house and dog sitting!
