Create a beautiful and complex textural pice of art. 

Joomchi is a 500 year old Koren process using Hanji (mulberry) paper. Several layers are combined to created a single textured piece. This is nice and easy and suitable for all ages.

All materials, PPE, professional tuition and light refreshments are provided. All you need to do is wear closed in shoes and have some idea of the colours you like. I am generous with my time. There is no pushing you in the workshop and trying to get you out the door in a hurry! 

You will learn:

1. the history og Hanji and Joomchi

2. observe a demonstartion

3.  create your own joomchi

You will need to collect your framed art after the workshop.

Maximum of 4 per workshop.

Failure to wear closed in shoes will see you turned away from the workshop.

The studio is air conditioned and located in beautiful bayside Sandgate.

The cost of the workshop is $150pp. 

A non refundable deposit of $50pp is required to secure your booking. Non refundable deposits must be paid within 24 hours. Non refundable deposits are not transferable.
