"Bellbird" Linen Top - SOLD OUT

How would like to make you own linen top? This stunning top is made using the "Bellbird' pattern for The Sewing Revival (NZ). Janine creates the most stunning patterns which are easy to use; and they all have a 'designer' twist!

This pattern is easy to use, has elbow length sleeves with gathered hems, and sits beautifully on the hips (its my favourite pattern). Add beautiful linen, and you have a winner!

All materials ( white linen, patttern threads and haberdashery), PPE, professional tuition and light refreshments are provided. All you need to do is wear closed in shoes and have a 'can do' attitude. I have been working with textiles for over 40 years. There is nothing more satisfying than making your own clothes. I

 am generous with my time. There is no pushing you in the workshop and trying to get you out the door in a hurry! 

You will learn:

1. prep' your pattern;

2. the grain of fabric and layout;

3. pinning and cutting;

4. how to straight stitch;

5. how to overlock; and

6. how to finish of your pieces professionally.

You will complete your linen top in the workshop. 

Maximum of 2 per workshop.

This workshop is not suitable for young children. Sewing experience is not essential.

Failure to wear closed in shoes may see you turned away from the workshop.

The studio is air conditioned and located in beautiful bayside Sandgate.

The cost of the workshop is $160pp. 

A non refundable deposit of $80 pp is required to secure your booking. If for some reason you cannot attend the scheduled workshop, I will work with you to try and organise an alternative date within 6 months.
