Silkscreen Monotype

Study of an orchid....my favourite flower.

Silkscreem, Inktense black pencil, acrylic paint, Speedball Transperant print paste, cartridge paper.

I haven't done this type of printing for 3 years. I forgot how much I love it. I really like the painterly aspect of it, plus the serendipity! You only get one go at this technique....and it has an amazing texture because of the silkscreen mesh.
